《新明日报》接获读者通报，赶往现场时，伤者已送院，警方在超市外和电梯都拉起封锁线，街坊在旁议论纷纷。
根据读者提供的照片，伤者当时靠着墙壁坐在地上，救护人员为他治疗，左手臂的袖子已染满鲜血。
在附近工作的文姓男公众（29岁）受访时说，当时外头一阵骚动，原来是一名老汉被划伤，血流不止倒地，不少人立即上前慰问。
