Cockanthan explanation by Amy Cockhead...........lol@farmer friend making sudden appearance. If she wasn't feeling guilty why delete the photo on her FB page in the first place?
These two school canteen hawkers really unlucky, quite a fair number of their eggs uplorried in full view of the public and got mistakenly labelled as hoarders........
“There was a minority group that criticised our move, but I would say, a large majority were in favour. In fact, many of them suggested to me that when this episode is over, that FairPrice should not allow people who stock up to return their excess goods to us to get a refund — this is actually our standard policy — this so as to teach people a lesson on buying responsibly and not hoard first only to return the stocks later. I thank everyone who have given me their various suggestions.” - NTUC CEO Seah Kian Peng
Plenty of taxis seen outside Changi Airport.......looks like peeps are afraid of hailing them after the news reported that some drivers caught the coronavirus. Huat ar!!!!!!
Prof Donald Low : PAP government must be honest and acknowledge that they have a trust deficit
Seeing pictures that my friends in Singapore sent of empty supermarket shelves and long queues of people waiting to buy face masks at Mustafa Centre makes me wonder what’s the point of having this strong, authoritarian and paternalistic government when we can’t even keep calm in the face of an epidemic that will kill far fewer people than pneumonia does every year. And those people who claimed we can respond more rationally to this crisis than the Hongkongers can go shove it up their asses. Not forgetting those PAP IBs who claim to be bolstering trust in the government but are clearly quite useless safe for sucking up to well you know who. These folks are therefore no different from the petty functionaries in Wuhan informing their bosses that all is well whilst attempting cover up an impending crisis. And what use is POFMA when people here are entirely capable of scaring themselves even without the proliferation of fake news? For once, I would like to see the PAP government be honest and acknowledge that they have a trust deficit cum serious crisis communication problem as far as the general public is concerned.Actually I have a simple piece of advice to stop this nonsense once and for all. Allow, possibly even encourage, supermarkets to raise prices in response to current surges in demand. I guarantee you the panic buying will cease immediately. If that still fails and we indeed run out of toilet paper, there’s always the local newspapers you can use.
The Singapore government has lost the plot. These 4G leaders don't know what they are doing, and the public is starting to wise up to their glaring incompetencies. Soon it shall be every man for himself, you die your own business.
Check out this fucking clown's terse statement issued on FB.
