McDonald's Sweet Chilli Fish Burger ($7.80 for meal)
Taste: 6/10 (better than the dry Filet-O-Fish burger, batter was crispy. Sauce turned out to be sweet and sour plus a tiny bit of spicy. Piece of fish trapped between two hot dog buns was too small for my liking though)
Service: 7/10 (Old auntie who took my order was quite friendly, felt a bit sorry for her that she still had to work at her age)
Value for money: 5/10
Overall: 5.5/10

Went to Sunshine Plaza yesterday to collect some stuff from a printing shop, so had lunch at Parklane Zha Yun Tun Mee House; standards have dropped considerably since I last ate there some years ago. For $4.50 you get an unsatisfying portion of blanched noodles, sinewy char siew pieces, just two pieces of skinny ass fried wonton plus two dumplings in soup. Tsk tsk.

$3.30 economy dinner purchased from Nom's Bistro (fried hor fun, luncheon meat, fried chicken cutlet, vegetable curry ladled over)
Taste: 5/10 (so-so nia, both hor fun and chicken were probably left out in the open for too long, yielded cold and stiff outcomes when sampled)
Service: 4/10 (served by a sour-faced middle-aged man)
Value for money: 6/10

Taste: 7/10 (ikan bilis+peanuts were super crispy and sweet, hash brown came across as a tad rancid though )
Service: 6/10 (served by quite a patient elderly auntie, not much to complain about )

Taste: 5/10 (Salmon patty was flaky and didn't seem fresh; shredded white cabbage and onions within burger were so dry with nary any mayo drizzled over made it felt like I was chewing hay)
Service: 5/10 (I actually ordered the $9.40 Hokkaido Salmon Feast which came with Yuzu cream cheese pie and green tea, but the freaking blur cashier mixed things up so I eventually had to settle for the basic meal )
Value for money: 3/10
Overall: 4.5/10

McDonald’s will keep its Singapore restaurants closed beyond May 4 despite being allowed to resume operations
Fast food lovers who have been looking forward to sinking their teeth in a McSpicy burger will have to wait a little longer.
McDonald’s Singapore said on Thursday (Apr 30) that it has decided not to resume operations on May 5, despite being allowed to do so from May 4.
In a Facebook post, the fast food chain said it had decided to extend its closure “for the safety and well-being of our employees and customers”.

Haven't tried Apollo fresh cockle fried kway teow at Marine Parade Food Centre since the place underwent renovations........knn the standard really dropped a lot. Serving size for $4 ($5 and $6 portions available) was pathetic, cockles and lup cheong dished out can use fingers to count. Not as wet and eggy as before; the characteristic fragrance has also gone completely MIA. Eat liao really sian 1/2.
Just ate at Go-Ang Pratunam Chicken Rice's NEX outlet, knn the food was so so nia, confirm not deserving of the Michelin Bib Gourmand award it won. Chicken was a bit cold and quite bland, kang kong fried with too much oil. Total damage for single plate of chicken rice + kang kong = $12.35.

Taste: 4/10 (partially crumpled, unappetizing looking burger was freaking dry and bland; chicken patty turned out so-so tastewise while separate patty engineered out of macaroni bits appeared undercooked.........not forgetting super stingy blots of cheese being meted out. )
Service: 5/10 (Retarded looking bloke can't seem to be bothered when I placed my order)

Chewy Junior sucks. Ate once and never ever going to try again. Their Bugis junction kiosk on most nights always appear to have problems selling off everything they made during the day, leftovers lelong lelong at dirt cheap prices also rarely have any buyers.
Well stay far away from 3 Sweets By Chewy Junior. Bought a box of 6 for $6 from the Raffles City outlet around 9 plus last weekend, think they were trying to clear their inventory with this cheap sales promotion because quite a lot were seen left unsold on their display shelves. Originally each sells for $2.40.
Guess what? They weren't fresh!!!!!!!! A funky smell escaped the box the moment me and my gf opened it, and our fears were confirmed when we tasted slightly sour cream........the kind when cream sorta went bad. 2.5 cream puffs in.......we felt like vomiting and thus threw away the entire box. If I were to give a score, 3/10 is already way too generous.
Looks darn boring and unappetizing. Gonna give this a miss.
