Moral of the story is : don't have any kid(s), then there is no need for an extra bowl. I am amazed at the problems people create for themselves.

Always bring along disposable bowls, plates and cutlery when you go out with young children. Hawker happy, you also happy. No squabbles will occur, everyone wins.
